Where to Use These Shafts?
- Garden Tillers (Frezen): The most common application. Tillers sit very close to the tractor. An adjustable shaft is mandatory here to prevent binding when lifting.

The "Old Master" Guide to Cutting Your Shaft
I can’t let you go without telling you how to cut this thing properly. 90% of shaft failures I see are because they weren't cut correctly.
- Đo tại vị trí: Hook the implement up. Do NOT connect the PTO. Raise or lower the 3-point hitch until the tractor PTO stub and implement shaft are at their closest point. This is your zero.
- The 25mm Rule: The compressed shaft must be at least 25-30mm shorter than that "closest point" measurement. You need that buffer room.
- Cut Equal Amounts: Pull the shaft apart. If you need to remove 100mm total, cut 100mm off the inner steel tube, 100mm off the outer steel tube, 100mm off the inner plastic guard, and 100mm off the outer plastic guard. Four cuts total.

- Grease It: Slather grease on the inner tube before reassembling. Friction is the enemy.

The standard for all these machines is the 1-3/8" 6-Spline (Z6) running at 540 RPM. Our shafts come pre-fitted with this standard. However, some very old Iseki or Kubota grey-market imports might have a 1" spline or a non-standard rotation. We have adapters and specific yokes for those oddballs too.
