For rotary bed formers working in soil that may contain stones or heavy clay clods, we strongly recommend a Friction Slip Clutch. A shear bolt will snap instantly upon impact, forcing you to stop and replace it. A slip clutch absorbs the momentary shock by slipping and then re-engages, keeping you moving and protecting the gearbox.

How do I measure the correct length for my PTO shaft?

Connect the implement to the tractor. Measure the distance from the locking groove on the tractor PTO stub to the groove on the implement input shaft. Subtract 75mm-100mm from this measurement to find the correct “Compressed Length.” This ensures the shaft doesn’t bottom out when lifting the machine.
