“Last year, a major Dutch machinery exporter contacted us regarding a recurring failure in the cane windrowers they had shipped to Australia. The PTO universals were seizing up after only 300 hours.<\/p>\n

Upon disassembly, we found the culprit: Sugar Caramelization<\/strong>. The standard rubber seals on the cross kits had degraded due to the acidic cane juice mist. This allowed juice to enter the needle bearings, where the heat of operation cooked it into a sticky, abrasive paste. It wasn’t a lubrication failure; it was a sealing failure.<\/p>\n
