Technically, yes, but it’s not ideal. Tractor PTOs are balanced for 540 RPM. Electric motors run at 1500 RPM. A tractor shaft will likely vibrate excessively at motor speeds. You need an Industrial Cardan Shaft, which is balanced for higher speeds and has keyed yokes to fit motor shafts directly.
