“I was called out to inspect a recurring failure. The contractor was using a 250HP tractor to drive a large tub kneader. They were snapping the tractor-side yoke ears every 50 hours of operation.<\/p>\n

The cause? Start-Up Inertia<\/strong>. The kneader rotor acts like a massive flywheel. When they engaged the PTO, the sudden torque spike was exceeding 3500 Nm.
