In the agricultural sector, the PTO shaft is the delivery method, but the gearbox is the muscle. Many of our industrial clients in the Netherlands also have interests in the agri-food sector or manage land where machinery is used. Why a Matched Set?<\/strong> One of the most common causes of failure we see is tolerance mismatch. If you buy a PTO shaft from Supplier A and a gearbox from Supplier B, the spline connection (usually 1-3\/8″ Z6) might have a slight variance. This play leads to fretting corrosion, vibration, and eventually, a stripped input shaft. By manufacturing both components, EVER-POWER guarantees a precise, tight fit that extends the life of both the shaft and the gearbox.<\/p>\nBuilt for the Mud, Not Just the Factory<\/h3>\n
Our agricultural gearboxes are built with Ductile Iron (QT450-10)<\/strong> housings. In an industrial plant, a gearbox sits on a concrete plinth. In a field, it sits on a vibrating frame that hits rocks and stumps. Ductile iron provides the elasticity needed to absorb these impacts without cracking.<\/p>\nInside, we use gears forged from 20CrMnTi steel<\/strong>, carburized to HRC 58-62. This is the same material specification we use for our heavy-duty kiln drive cross kits. It ensures that the gear teeth remain wear-resistant even under poor lubrication conditions or high operating temperatures.<\/p>\nVersatile Applications<\/h3>\n
