In Dutch mixed farming, a tractor is a multi-tool. It might be feeding cattle in the morning, loading manure at noon, and mowing grass in the afternoon. For tractors equipped with heavy-duty front loaders (voorlader), the standard internal hydraulic pump is often insufficient. It lacks the flow rate (L\/min) for fast cycle times when lifting heavy silage bales.<\/p>\n

The solution is a Front-Mounted PTO Pump<\/strong>. By driving a high-capacity hydraulic pump directly from the tractor’s front crankshaft (or Front PTO), you get dedicated hydraulic power that is independent of the transmission clutch. We found the issue: the short drive shaft connecting the crankshaft pulley to the front hydraulic pump was worn out. The splines were stripped because the pump was slightly misaligned with the engine. The vibration was shaking the radiator mounts loose.<\/p>\n
